Meet the Dental Team – Glenmont, NY

Here When You Need Us

A dental office is only as strong as the team it employs, and that’s no exception at Glenmont Dental. Many of our friendly, punctual, and personable team members have been at the dental office for several years and enjoy explaining treatment plans, helping you understand your dental financing, and taking the time to answer questions when you have them. Feel free to get to know our team ahead of your appointment with us; they’d love to have a conversation with you and your loved ones!

Tracy, Office Manager/ Practice Leader

Tracy attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and has spent all of her 13 years (and counting) in the dental field right here at our dental office. During that time, she has formed genuinely strong bonds with both our patients and the other members of our team.

She lives with her husband Brian, their one-year-old daughter Hailey, and their “first child” – their ten-year-old goldendoodle, Mack. Tracy loves to travel; she and Brian visit Cape Cod every year. One fun fact about Tracy is that, when she was three months old, she was adopted from South Korea.

Sarah, Receptionist

A native of Burlington, VT, Sarah studied at the University of Vermont before joining Glenmont Dental. Getting to meet new people is definitely her favorite part of being involved with our team.

At home, she has a fiancé and a Cavapoo named Teddy. In her free time, Sarah is an avid volleyball player. She also enjoys spinning and trying all of the amazing eateries that Upstate New York has to offer.

Michelle, Receptionist

Originally from Coxsackie, NY, Michelle has been working in the dental field for a few years now. She loves getting to know all of the people who step through our dental office’s front doors. She is the oldest of three siblings.

Debra, Dental Hygienist

A relatively new member of our team, Debra has 35+ years of experience in the field of dentistry. Since graduating from Hudson Valley Community College, she has obtained a certification in nitrous oxide monitoring. Seeing a patient attain a healthier smile is by far the most rewarding aspect of her job!

At home, Debra has a domestic partner who is an iron worker, as well as a son and a daughter who are both in their early twenties. Outside of dentistry, Debra loves iron work, painting, and traveling. She has actually visited over 100 cities in Europe and the Middle East; she also speaks Arabic and German!

Samantha, Dental Hygienist

Samantha has been at our dental office for five years and counting. She studied at the State University of New York at Albany as well as New York University, and has earned her certification in dental anesthesia. She loves being able to educate our patients and work together to help them achieve healthier teeth and gums.

On the weekends, she crochets stuffed animals, and on weeknights, you’ll often find her lifting weights at the gym. She’s currently working toward climbing all of the Adirondack high peaks to become a 46er.

Megan, Dental Assistant

Megan brings almost three whole decades of experience to our team. She completed her dental training at Ulster County BOCES. She loves that every day at our dental office is unlike any other, and though the work can present challenges, working through them with our patients and team members is incredibly rewarding.

Megan lives with her husband and their two dogs – a Jack Russell terrier named Moose and a Pocket Beagle named Hoku Leia. They all love the outdoors; some of Megan’s hobbies include boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, lounging by a campfire, and doing yard work. An interesting fact about Megan is that she is a two-time cancer survivor!

Laura, Dental Assistant

Although Laura is a fairly new addition to our team, she has worked in the dental field for more than 34 years. It fills her with joy to see the smiles on her patients’ faces when they leave the dental office satisfied with the work that she has done.

She has been married to her husband Tommy for 15 years. She has two daughters, two sons-in-law, and one granddaughter, as well as an Olde English Bulldogge named Frank. Laura’s hobbies include reading, walking, working out, cooking, gardening, and especially traveling. People have told her that her life stories are so interesting that she should write a memoir!

Devan, Dental Assistant

Devan attended the State University of New York at Cobleskill and is certified in First Aid and CPR. By far, her favorite aspects of her job are being able to improve patients’ health and helping to create beautiful smiles that boost patients’ self-confidence.

Family is a huge part of Devan’s life; she tries to do weekend game nights with her family at least two or three times a month. She also has a passion for animals, and she used to work as a veterinary assistant. In addition to having fostered and rehabilitated multiple species of small mammals, she has two cats, a dog, and two bunnies. In her free time, Devan enjoys hiking in the Catskills Mountains, visiting the Adirondacks, camping, and birdwatching.
